The Microtech Stitch out the side automatic knife is a production version of the highly regarded collaboration between Tony Marfione and Borka Blades. This unique design is a formidable tool with its piercing harpoon blade and heavy-duty aircraft alloy handle. A large folder with a purpose built tactical design, the Borka Stitch is still compact enough for comfortable daily carry. This version comes with a stonewashed, fully serrated M390 stainless blade and black handle.
Brand new, direct from Microtech Knives.
Blade:Â The Stitch’s unique blade shape is, at its core, a spear point with some striking modifications. The fully serrated cutting edge ends in a piercing harpoon tip with a sweeping belly for slicing ability, making short work of tough materials. Equipped with a rugged, wear hiding stonewashed finish the +4.5 mm M390 blade deploys with decisive automatic action via the textured button actuator.
Handle: A ridged back spacer and two slabs of lightweight and durable black anodized aircraft alloy form the handle, milled with triangle knurling for exceptional traction in the hand with good comfort. The curve of the handle and forward finger choil come together for an ergonomic grip that offers excellent control in both forward and reverse grips. The button lock is strong, dependable, and easy to operate.
Carries via a right-hand stainless steel pocket clip.
Bohler M390: Bohler M390 (analog to CPM-20CV and CTS-204P) is a premium powder metallurgy (PM) stainless steel with high level edge retention and corrosion resistance. A popular choice for high-end production and custom knives, M390 is relatively easy to sharpen, with toughness on par with 440C/154CM.
