This Tactical version comes with a black Cerakote coated, fully serrated M390 blade, black aircraft aluminum handle with traction inserts and matching black hardware.
Brand new, direct from Microtech Knives.
Blade:Â The large, curved hawkbill blade is M390 stainless steel with durable black Cerakote coating on the grinds and satin flats. Milled holes and a harpoon swedge deliver a futuristic style with devastating power from the fully serrated saber ground edge. Deployment is lightning quick via the large high traction button actuator.
Handle: Black hard anodized aluminum delivers a durable, lightweight handle with black traction inserts and aggressive milling on the edges for exceptional traction and a secure grip. The handle has plenty of real estate to easily accomodate the largest of hands offering a full grip with or without the karambit ring end. For rock solid lockup and easy operation the button lock is tough to beat.
Carries via a right hand stainless steel pocket clip.
Bohler M390: Bohler M390 (analog to CPM-20CV and CTS-204P) is a premium powder metallurgy (PM) stainless steel with high level edge retention and corrosion resistance. A popular choice for high-end production and custom knives, M390 is relatively easy to sharpen, with toughness on par with 440C/154CM.
