Manufactured by Reate Knives and designed by Ramon Chaves, the Chaves Ultramar series offers the same functional, ergonomic designs and stout build quality as Ramon’s customs in a production platform. The Scapegoat Street titanium frame lock is a compact clip point designed for daily carry with a tank like construction for heavy use. Blasted and tumbled titanium handle and clip pair with a two-tone satin M390 clip point blade.
Brand new, direct from Chaves Knife and Tool.
Blade: The thick M390 blade rides smooth on a ceramic bearing pivot for fast and flawless deployment via the dual thumb studs. A straight clip and high saber grind offer solid performance while retaining durability. Horizontal satin flats and vertical satin grinds deliver a classy two-tone look while a generous choil lends added control during use.
Handle: Blasted and tumbled solid slabs of titanium form the handle, back spacer and clip. The simple, straight design works in multiple grips with enhanced ergonomics from the chamfered edges. An integral frame lock is smooth and solid thanks to the hardened steel lock face insert.
Carries via a right hand milled titanium clip. Skull clip installed, plain clip included.
Bohler M390: Bohler M390 (analog to CPM-20CV and CTS-204P) is a premium powder metallurgy (PM) stainless steel with high carbide content for some of the highest edge retention and corrosion resistance, while being relatively easy to sharpen. A popular choice for high-end production and custom knives. Relatively high carbide volume and coarse microstructure gives this steel lower toughness.
